Nope, not talking about my 5 daughters! *grin* Here are some new pictures of our birds. . . the first one is Hula, pictured last time. She is now a gorgeous bird, and at 1 month old, almost full grown. Mom and Dad don't seem to be feeding her anymore, she is eating on her own. The second one is Blackbird, and he (or she, we can't tell gender of any of them yet) is a really pretty turquoise color. He is a few days younger than Hula. Last but not least, is Shorty. He is still in the ugly duckling stage, and we aren't sure what color he'll be yet. He has some turquoise feathers budding in his tail, so he may look alot like Blackbird. Time will tell. . . he should be fully feathered by April. Ericka is enjoying her bird adventure, and has invested in another cage. She hopes to have our other pair of birds laying soon and would like 2-3 clutches (litters) per pair each year, and hopes to sell them to make a little extra money. OOPS. THE PICTURES UPLOADED BACKWARDS, SO FROM THE TOP, WE HAVE SHORTY, BLACKBIRD, AND HULA. I AM NOT BLOG-SAVVY ENOUGH TO HAVE REARRANGED THEM.
