My Bread Recipe

1 c. gluten
1 c. coconut oil**
1/2 c. blackstrap molasses
1/2 c. honey
2 T. salt
3 T. yeast
6 c. hot water
15 (or so) c. wheat flour ***

This is my family's favorite bread ever. It is packed with nutrition, especially if you grind the wheat directly before mixing the bread. I just put all the ingredients into my Bosch bowl and knead on 1 for 6 minutes. Turn bread out and shape into loaves. Place into pans, cover with a towel for 30 minutes, then bake at 350 for 50 minutes.

**Despite the use of coconut oil, the bread does not taste of coconut, so shouldn't be a problem if you don't care for coconut. This oil is one of the healthiest there is, and though it is expensive, it is well worth it for the health benefits.

***For years, I couldn't bake a decent loaf of bread to save my life. I finally watched a demo cd from someone, and discovered that I was way over-flouring. I have found now that I get the best bread, and the lightest, if I only put enough flour in to hold the dough together. When I turn the dough onto the counter, it is quite sticky and will ooze if I let it sit long.
