Puppies!

One of my "new" businesses is raising dogs. I say "new" because I used to raise dogs 5 years or so ago, until I had to choose between caring for the babies and caring for the dogs. I made the wise choice. :o) Now, the Lord has opened up a wonderful opportunity for me to begin again. I am raising Papillons and Chihuahuas. My children love the business, but have difficulty getting ahold of the "come and go" of it. They get attached to every little critter I have. If they had their way, we'd never sell a pup and soon be overrun. My first pup is ready to sell now. He is a Papitese (papillon/maltese) that the girls named "Baptist." *grin* They thought Christian names would be best, and somehow that won the toss. My next litter will be ready at the end of this month. Their mom, Rainbow, lost 2 pups, and the girls named the remaining 3 after the verse that says "these three remain. . ." So, their names are Faith, Hope, and Love. The verse also says that "the greatest of these is Love" and the girls figure Faith and Hope must be a little bit jealous. :o)

Hi Brenda,

We'd love to see your puppies sometime. Janessa is interested in a small puppy. Welcome to blog land! I look forward to reading yours and seeing more pictures!
